Fun shot with the family

It is possible to jam 14 people into a hospital bed. Smelser and Conway family over to the hospital after church. Shelley was smiling but I just missed the shot and didn't have the heart to ask her for another try.

Your Lincon and my Breea got to hang out and get to know eachother a little on Saturday. I asked her what she thought about him and she said "he's probably the nicest guy Ive ever met" Good job on the son raising. Once again, I have Shelly and Mike "SON" envy.

Praying you have a good day today:)

Shelley,
You have such a wonderful family. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers each and every day. I have always looked up to you as such a wonderful example ever since I got to know you in Young Women's. You have such a strong testimony and have such a great relationship with your family and I really look up to you and appreciate that in you. You always have a smile on your face, a great sense of humor, and always find the best in people. I always enjoyed seeing you at all of the Higley and Williamsfield Football Games. (You supporting your sons as football players and me supporting my daughters as Cheerleaders). Take care of yourself and always know that your are loved. Also, as long as you are in Banner Desert, which I hope isn't much longer, let me know if you aren't getting everything you need from the staff and I'll see what I can do to help. I have a lot of connections and know a lot of people there. Take Care!!

Mike & Shelley
I have so enjoyed getting to know you both a little bit as we cheered for our Black Hawk boys at JV football and wrestling last year and this fall. Even just sitting there in the stands with you I could tell what a special family you are. We are so saddened that your family is having to endure this trial, but we have faith in the power of prayer and fasting and the comfort the gospel brings. My daughter, Cheyenne, was in Briggs class last year and she is praying especially for him.

I've read through all the post on this blog and, though I don't know you well Shelley, it is obvious that you are very special lady who has touched many lives. I have had Prescott & Lincoln in class many times as I've subbed in the district and they are two of the sweetest most respectful young men I've ever been around. I know my son Colton thinks a lot of Lincoln for the way he conducts himself and the example he is to those around him. That is a tribute to you as a mom.

Hang in there. We are all praying for you and your family.

Hey Mike, How about a picture of you and Shelley??? I would love to see one of the two of you together:) If I don't see you post one maybe next time I'm in I'll take one for you.
On a different note... President Riggs quoted Shelley at Stake Auxiliary training the other night. He said that when he asked her what he should say to the leaders of our stake that her advice was, "Go above and beyond your calling". We were all so touched by this profound advice. As a Stake YW presidency, we have chosen "Above and Beyond" for the theme of our upcoming Recognition Dinner. I want you both to know the profound nature of your example and the inspiration you are providing for so many right now. Please know how very LOVED and THOUGHT OF you are. Both you and your children are so very precious to so many!

Much Love,
Carey Bailey

Shelley Mike and family, i have to tell you when we first moved to the Higley school district i think Taylor was on of the first kids i met when he come home with walker. they looked liked complete opposites and i wondered how did these two

meet. Walker and Taylor became the very best of friends i think the first time they met. We always said it was love at first sight! how thankful i was for Walker finding such an awesome friend! they always told people that they were twins and they were and are always together and still are that... i think for awhile people did believe they were twins! And as the kids have grown up it is a huge blessing that Rhett and linclon have became such wonderful friends too! i knew that the first i met Shelley that we had a great bond! she has always been the very best example to me! no matter what would be going on in my family or things around me she could always make since of it for me and could make things seem like every thing would work out! Shelley always would say things like that happened to me and its no big deal and every thing would be just fine, and it would. Unconditional love just gushed from Shelley always! I LOVED sitting at football games and wrestling matches with her! we would coach from the side lines!! Shelley with all her family was always there to watch and support her kids in every way! Shelley was a second mom to our sons Rhett and Walker and I will be eternally thankful to her for that!Shelley would e-mail Walker on his mission and he loved her e-mails as she updated him! i do have to say that Walker always wanted to go to Shelley's house because he said always "Taylor's mom is HOT"!!!! and she is!!! It is my prayer that we can take all the things we have learned from Shelley and apply them in our lives! I know for sure that i will! I am ETERNALLY thankful to my Heavenly Father for blessing me with such a wonderful friend and sister! Shelley i love you and thank you for all you have done for me and my family! Again thank you for the way you and Mike have raised your kids to be such great examples and friends to my kids!! Shelley you will always be in my heart! WE love, love, love Love, you, Tamy and Tom and Family
