You know you're pretty important when the wife of the Presidential Candidate hears that you are sick and comes to see you. (yes, it really is Cindy McCain)

We just want you and your family to know that we are praying for you! You have a wonderful family and a ton of support I'm sure! Please know that we are more than willing to help in anyway, our kids would love to have your kids come play, they miss being just down the street. Brock really enjoys having Briggs in his class. Keep relying on the spirit, you won't be lead astray.

I thought about you all day knowing you would not be able to see Colter's game tonight so I decided to go and watch him for you! I must say though I missed a lot because I couldn't see very well through the tears that kept falling because I know how much you would like to be there. Don't worry though, I will continue to 'sacrifice' and go to the games to watch Lincoln and Colter play football so they have a mom there watching him. I have to tell you though, I don't cheer and yell for them as loud as you do! I hope that is okay!

Caroline told me what was happening with you at parent teacher conferences. During the JV game on Thursday, I heard Lincoln's name shouted and thought of you. I saw Colleen - she is always such a ray of sunshine! I asked how she was since I thought she might be asked a lot about you right now. She was her usual bouncy self!
I just wanted you to know that me and my family will keep you and your family in our prayers. It sounds like you have super supporters in your family and in your church. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help!

Shelley, you´re the greatest! ... Wherever you go, you are the most beautiful and intelligent person in the room ... Shelley for Prez!

But if you get tired of strangers walking into the room and asking to let them have their picture taken with you, just tell the hospital security to put the "Keep Out" sign on the door.

Sunshine and Smiles!

Thank-you for putting together this BLOG. It has been wonderful for us to see the expressions of Love, Faith and Testimony your family has so openly shared. We have wept, worried and rejoiced as we have read the daily accounts of your struggles and victories. Our family continues to pray each day for each one of you and we will add our faith and prayer to your as we fast tomorrow for Shelley and your entire family. We trust that God will hear and answer our united prayers as we continue to exercise our faith in him. Please let us know what we can do to help!

Steve & I were going to come and visit this evening, but Carol said you weren't feeling the best. So I thought I would just leave you a message.
We always knew you were famous! Do you think she is going to expect you to vote for John now?! Haha! We did early ballot and have already voted.
We have been praying for you and your family and will definately be fasting for you also. We love you and Mike and all the kids! Let us know if you need help with anything!
With love, Connie & Steve

Hang in there Mike. If I hadn't just started the academy, we would have packed up the kids and come down to see you guys as well. We are all praying for you and Shelley. I am so glad you guys changed hospitals. It sounds like things are much more encouraging where you are now. Please give Shelley our love.

Shelly,
You are in my thoughts and in my prayers. I just want you to know how much you mean to me as you were one of the first people to extend friendship to me when we moved to the Gilbert area, always gracious, always happy, always a friend, and always an amazing mom. Meet this challenge head on like you have always done and know that you have so many friends that love you that are willing to support you and help you during this trial. My thanks to Mike for keeping this blog and keeping us all informed. Love ya,

Dear Shelley,
My heart is full at this time, I think about you and your trial so much.I know the fear you feel the what do I do next feeling and how in the world will I get it all done. Well I can tell you miracles happen,I have experienced them. When I was in Banner in April and things looked so bad, I felt the prayers heal my soul. My body still hurt but my soul was comforted. If I could take this from you I would, I dont want anyone to hurt. But I know this is your trial and the blessings that will be recieved by all that know you will be numberless. I didnt realize that we are both small town girls and I know Lisa and Trina and Paul. I probably know alot of the same people you do, But the most important one I know is Jesus Christ. He has been by myside in my long hours of suffering and I know he is with you. Im not sure if words can express the love that one daughter of God has for another but I hope you will know that I love you and know how hard things are at this time and I know without a doubt that you are strong and you will get done all that you need to do.
May you feel the prayers being said in every home for you. I know that you are in ours daily.
Keep Smiling Love,
Kim Mell
